Mr. Hartley has been licensed in all Virginia Courts and in the relevant Federal Courts since 1989. He started his career as a private practitioner in Blacksburg, Virginia practicing throughout Southwest Virginia. His trial practice has been and continues to be in the areas of traffic and criminal defense, civil litigation and domestic relations. He has also practiced extensively in the juvenile courts representing juveniles in all matters before that court including criminal and delinquency issues, school related difficulties and frequently serves as a guardian ad litem, a child’s representative in Court, by Virginia Supreme Court certification.
